RV Nano ESP32 Case

Prototyping with raw microcontrollers usually means dealing with fragile pins, messy wire routing, and bare boards that slide unpredictably across your workbench. The RV Nano ESP32 Case was engineered to eliminate that physical friction. Drawing heavy inspiration from the clean, utilitarian, and highly modular design aesthetic of the M5Stack ecosystem, this enclosure transforms a vulnerable PCB into a rugged, finished module. It’s designed not just to protect the hardware, but to integrate seamlessly into your workflow. The core philosophy behind this project was to make the device maximally anchorable for absolutely any prototyping scenario. To achieve this, the case utilizes a dual-mounting strategy: Lego Technic compatibility: The chassis features precise, integrated sockets designed for Lego Technic pins. This allows for rapid, tool-less mechanical mounting, letting you snap the ESP32 directly into complex robotic builds, custom test jigs, or larger structural prototypes in seconds. Embedded magnets: Complementing the mechanical pin system, the base houses discreet, high-strength embedded neodymium magnets. This allows the unit to instantly snap onto any ferrous surface—whether you are attaching it to a metal door frame for an IoT sensor test, throwing it on a magnetic whiteboard during a system mapping session, or anchoring it directly to the extrusion frame of your 3D printer. By bridging the gap between electronic testing and physical mounting, the RV Nano ESP32 case reduces the cognitive load of hardware development. It ensures that your microcontroller stays exactly where you need it, allowing you to focus on the code and the mechanics rather than the clutter.

FRAME Editorial

When I was approached by FRAME, their branding system had already been long established. This provided an opportunity for me to work within the company's brand identity to create design work that communicated FRAME's style while delivering a quality ad. Having used their previous ad system for the past 3 years, FRAME saw 2015 as an opportunity to give their marketing a soft refresh.

Altitude

There is an iOS app to train salespeople at Apple reseller locations worldwide. Currently, our app sends news and training resources to salespeople. They can also earn experience points, achievements, and badges (similar to many games on the App Store). Salespeople are very competitive, and we want to increase usage of our app by introducing leaderboards. We will use leaderboards as a gaming technique to drive in-app user behavior through competition and celebrating accomplishments with status recognition. We need to apply best practices in gaming to drive the following user behavior: • Usage of the app by consuming elective content or training program related content • Successful completion of training programs, curriculum, or time-based challenges • Successful completions of quizzes, question-based challenges, and assessments When we apply game mechanics such as using Experience Points, Leveling-Up, and Virtual Badging within the app, we can use these in-app rewards or recognition to rank them against a specified leaderboard. These leaderboards need to be relevant to users and in some cases reset standings to ensure that ranking on the leaderboards is achievable.

Everywhere Energy Pitch Video

Everywhere Energy is an emerging engineering firm based out of Austin, TX, that is currently developing technologies that harness energy from the world in new and ingenious ways. As the Company’s creative director, I collaborated with their marketing director and team of engineers to develop the scope and message of their pitch. In production, I oversaw every aspect of the production of the video. From development of the pitch, to both planning, shooting and directing the team. At this time the company is still in development on the prototype for their flagship product. The footage was tailored to present the team in a clean and professional environment. A dolly helped to create a smooth and controlled sense of movement and progress. Each member of the company provided phrases for the pitch, that when played together, create a narrative that communicates both the message and the cohesive nature of the company. The cool soft blue tones were utilized to help to convey the professionalism and trustworthiness of the company.
